Lunar New Year Feast A6 Notecard

Some of the traditional foods eaten during Chinese New Year are here! Some of the dishes include steamed whole fish, noodles, dumplings, spring rolls, radish cake, Nian Gao (Chinese New Year Cake), Jian Dui (sesame balls), Tang Yuan (sweet dumpling soup) and tangerines. All of these are considered Lucky Foods and each have symbolism. For example, whole fish symbolises abundance, noodles mean longevity and tangerines are good luck!
