    "Dai Gut Dai Lei"

Dai Gut Dai Lei is a popular Lunar New Year greeting in Cantonese. It means "Good Luck. Hope everything goes smoothly". The second character "Gut" means Luck but it is also pronounced the same as the Cantonese character for tangerine. This is why the images of tangerines are often seen alongside this greeting!
